Last Minute DIY Wine Gift

If you read my gift guide here, then you know I love giving easy, simple gifts with a touch of DIY for the holidays. These little stocking/wine bottles are so easy, and seriously make the cutest gifts for friends, family, or even coworkers. During Halloween, my girlfriend Hope made something similar for me, and I just thought it was adorable, so I decided to recreate it using Target accessories and stocking-stuffer items!

1. Start with a bottle of wine. I always try to use wine I know the recipient drinks. You could also do this with champagne, sparkling waters, or any bottle-shaped item.

2. Pull a holiday sock over the wine bottle. You can use the second sock to tie around the bottle or the neck, but since I used these adorable ornaments from the holiday section, I just double-layered my socks on the bottle.

3. Cinch the sock around the neck of the bottle, and tie with twine.

4. Tie the ornament around the bottle neck as well, and put an adorable gift tag on the bottle.

5. Voila! Adorable, easy, and sure to bring a smile to faces.

You could also use other accessories for tying, like a necklace, a pair of gloves, etc. However, I like the idea of cozy socks, wine, and an ornament to admire from the couch. On another note, how was everyone’s weekend? We had Aaron’s fancy-schmancy holiday party, so that was fun. This Saturday, we are packing up to head to Ohio for the holidays, so this week will be filled with preparation I’m sure!
