Hey, hey! Who watched the eclipse yesterday and were you in totality, or partial? I waited too long to buy glasses, but luckily a woman at work shared with me so I was able to peep a view. Even though I knew Durham wasn’t in a total eclipse spot, I still expected it to get darker during the event and I was a little underwhelmed when it didn’t. This is what I get for not doing my research and knowing how these things work… 🙂 If you have pics, I’d love to see them (you can tweet them at me! @amy_cbandbp).
Some of you who read this post, might be asking why I’m sharing some of these looks again, but since I briefly touched on them in my MacKenzie-Childs trip recap post, I wanted to share a little more about my “vacation outfits” with y’all. I say “vacation outfits” because even though it was a work trip, it felt like a vacation because it was so fun! I’ll be repeating 1-2 of these looks (like this perfect striped tee) in a few weeks when Aaron and I head out on a real vacation that I am getting so excited about! We’ll be “babymooning” in New England and even though we were just in Boston this past winter, I’m excited to explore even more of the area and am most definitely hoping for some very fall like weather to escape NC’s constant heat. I’m also looking forward to it because we’ll be exploring a few different places along the coast which is something we usually don’t do. Typically we pick a place and stay put, but this trip, we’ve rented a car and will be bopping’ around and about.
Cheers to Tuesday and being one day closer to the weekends friends! Now, to get some coffee…
