Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins

Covered.

June 26, 2014

Do you remember when it wasn’t cool to wear a whole piece? I can remember being in my early teens and begging for bikinis instead of a whole piece at the mall. Today, I own two that I am big fans of, one being this adorable BevSwim striped number (go check out her suits, they are adorably retro) and also this VS one (I’m also a bit obsessed).

Now, I am not saying I solely wear one pieces now. I still purchased a bikini this year, but I am thrilled that whole pieces are becoming more common and even cuter. I have “fat days” just like the next girl and sometimes I just point blank don’t want to wear something so revealing- so whole pieces are a great option for those conservative ladies out there and those that just want to switch it up occasionally.

Do you own a whole piece?

My girlfriends are in town visiting for the weekend, I’d love for you to follow along on Instagram @amy_cbandbp to see what we’re up to! Have a great weekend y’all and as ALWAYS, thanks so much for reading!

I remember feeling so dorky in my one-pieces when I was younger! Now I love them 🙂

I love a good one piece! That crocheted stomach one is adorable, I have one like that and feel like it's just enough to make me feel covered up even though I'm still showing a lot of skin.

I think the mono-kini was responsible for bringing one pieces back in style. I picked up a hurley one piece earlier this year before going to Central America because I knew I'd be doing some adventurous activities and didn't want to worry about flashing anything or anyone!

I am a BIG fan of one pieces too! So much more comfortable. I find good ones at Target or Macy's. – J
