‘Bout time for some Chambray

I’ve had a chambray shirt in my closet for about two years now, not quite before it got “hot,” but before it was literally EVERYWHERE. Don’t you love it when you buy something because you think its so cool and different and then <poof> everyone gets it? Yes, no?
But let me tell ya all a little something…my dad, he’s been doing denim shirts since I was in diapers. We used to tease him about wearing his Kentucky tuxedo around. I attribute him with the reason denim on denim is so popular now- what a fashionista that man is.

See that stink eye I have? Im giving my dog the death ray for scratching the screen, Im such a nice mom.
Im not even going to ask if you love chambray or not, because I think everyone and their dog does. However, what’s your favorite way to weat it? Denim + Denim? Skirt Denim? Discuss!

    I love how you paired the chambray with the skirt–it's the perfect mix of casual and girlie! I have literally lived in my chambray shirt this summer–I'm set on wearing it as MUCH as possible before the weather gets too too cold.

    I love Chambray! And I got mine when it became HOT! I have gotten some things before they have really become popular and it has made me feel pretty good. It hasn't happend much though…
    I love the skirt you are wearing with it! It goes so great together and I honestly wouldn't have visioned it going together! Thank you for posting pictures and now I'm going to go search for a skirt. My favorite thing to wear with my shirt is either white shorts or capris but now you have me thinking about stepping out of my "comfort" zone!

    I love chambray shirts with either pleated skirts like yours, or a-line flared skirts in prints! I kind of like the denim on denim, but Dolce & Gabbana was the only designer I felt did it right when it was in style, but of course not affordable at all. I don't have a denim chambray shirt yet, but once I do get one, I will be figuring out a way to wear it that is different because you are right about everyone and their mother having these and wearing them all over the universe!     I love this chambray look–it's so pretty paired with that skirt! I lobe wearing mine too, I think my favorite way is open as a light jacket over a dress or jeans!
