Copy Cat Monday

Today’s CCM has taught me a few things:

1. Don’t take your toe nail polish off, forget to repaint toes and then wear flip flops.
2. The whole point of a Copy Cat is to copy, put your hair up, your sunglasses down and hold your whip’s keys in your hand. 
3. Don’t copy a supermodel, EVER.

I don’t know if I would technically classify this outfit as “blog worthy,” but here is what I do know. It was comfy and perfect for the cooler weather we had yesterday and also for being in a car for 7 hours. The Mr. has a big test today in Philly, so I was his wing man during the drive and am just working from a remote desktop today (we’re heading back tonight, boo). I sometimes like a simpler outfit, maybe that is a no no in the style blogging world, but I promised to only showcase what I actually wear on this blog and therefore, sooner or later you’re bound to get a lay low casual and comfy flannel.
What’s your favorite road trip outfit? Does anyone like Klum’s bag? I do not.

    Blog worthy…of course, you look great, love the deep color of the plaid. Planning on doing a little post on plaid, you did it right. And no, don't like the bag.

    Any outfit you wear is blog appropriate in my opinion, some times its nice to know that you aren't the only one that has days where you don't always rock a "perfect" blog outfit. That being said, PERISH THE THOUGHT OF THIS NOT BEING APPROPRIATE FOR A BLOG! You are rocking it!

    i prefer your interpretation, frankly…. you still have that grunge-chic aesthetic, but your denim is more flattering and your hair looks lovely, plus your necklace is killer!

    i think blog outfits should be anything you want to share; cornering or stifling yourself based on what others do or what you think others want from you is so limiting!

    i hope the mr. does well on his exam!

    I love this outfit and i like it better on you than on Heidi. Never compare yourself to a super model. I actually wrote a blog about it, you should check it out. Anyways I don't think its a no-no to post casual pics of yourself. That's reality, being a super model is not.

    In my opinion you rock the outfit better than the model. And I love the fact you post your comfy outfits, not everyone dresses up every single day. Its refreshing to see clothes I would actually wear more on a daily basis.
