Friday’s Top Five…

….Pictures from my Bachelorette weekend!

This week’s Friday’s Top Five is a bit different from others. It’s about me (sorry in advance). I wanted to share some photos from my big weekend in Nashville, but I also didn’t want to share too much- so I decided to share five photos from the weekend that I keep going back to- either because they make my heart melt, or they just make me laugh hysterically.

I wish I could tag all of these girls in posts the way you can tag friends on FB (follow me here), but I can’t, so Ill just give them a shout out to say, you girls are amazing and I am SO lucky to call you friends.

#1. Party Planners! I know all of the girls in attendance played a huge role in making sure the weekend was fun filled and special, but I have to say thank you to very special ladies (and my MOH’s- yes, I have 2!) who made sure NashVegas would never be the same.



The first night I wore the dress pictured above and all of the girls wore black cocktail dresses!

#2. A Bachelorette ‘ain’t a Bachelorette without some pink and a sash!

#4. The Panty Game! So fun, and yet, I only got 2 right!

#5. These ladies. I may be bias, but I think my bridal party is a real winner in both the looks department and the heart department. Each of these women have beautiful faces, big hearts and stellar personalities. I wanna be just like each of them when I grow up.

Annnd a story to leave you with…

Saturday night we were supposed to dress up as 1920’s flappers. Sounds super fun right? We spent all of this time making headbands, finding dresses and researching appropriate flapper gear. Well, after being out all day and seriously having the best time, I looked around and thought to myself, “it would be a drag to ruin this fun and take everyone back to change now.” Don’t get my wrong, I was a little bummed considering I had bought the most adorable dress, but seeing how much fun my girlfriends were having was all that mattered in that moment and I was perfectly content right where we were, in day clothes and all. So readers, there is no Sunday night outfit because Sunday’s day outfit was the night’s as well. It wasn’t supposed to be that way, but why ruin a good thing?

However, my sister and girlfriend did walk back later that evening to get different shoes and when they returned they had brought our flapper headbands. The best of both worlds. So we put them on with Sunday’s day clothes and walked around Nash in flapper headbands and singing like fools. And you know what? I didn’t care one bit. I had a sweet flapper headband, comfy shoes on, and all my best gals pals right next to me.

And so, this post has gotten WAY longer than anticipated, but Ill leave you with one last photo form the last night in Nash which pretty much sums up the fun we were having:



P.s. see that big balloon? I was holding that until it got loose right before the photo was snapped.

    Looks like you had a fantastic time! That white dress you wore the first night is stunning – suuuuuper flattering. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my sister's bachelorette party for this weekend – planning is hard stuff, it's great that you gave your girls a shout-out!

    That white dress is seriously beautiful…It's like a mix or a modern mermaid and Cleopatra and all things luxe rolled into one little white strapless dress! It looks perfect on you!

    Awww I loved this post!! I'm so happy to hear you had a wonderful bachelorette weekend. And it sounds like you did the right thing by not going back to change. I think I would have done the same thing but also would have been a little bummed not to be able to wear a cute dress I had spent time on. I love the pictures and also love that dress you wore the first night. So pretty! It's a weekend you'll never ever forget!
