…items needed for fall!
#1. Blazer

A structured blazer is not only a great investment, but also an all year long piece. You can still rock your favorite summer dresses by throwing a blazer on over it and putting on a cute pair of heels or flats.

#2. Tights

Just like a great blazer, a pair of tights can transform those summer dresses or pair of shorts into perfectly acceptable fall outfits. There are so many fun colors, the options are limitless!

#3. Chunky Scarf

A big comfy scarf just screams fall and your tee shirts and cute tops will too when you add a big comfy knit on top.

#4. Boots

Any kind. Flat, heeled, ankle, or knee. To me, boots scream fall/winter. Pair them with shorts, tights or even a pair of skinny jeans!

#5. Vests

The utility vest is one of my favorite pieces and can be transitioned from wearing with tanks to wearing with tees and longer sleeved items for the chilly months ahead.

The great thing about these items is that many of them can be worn together. I love a floral dress with tights and flat booties!

    I'm getting a blazer for my birthday in less than two weeks and have all of the other items on the list except a vest. I would love to see more stylings with a vest because I just can't see myself wearing one!

    I completely agree with all of these! Currently, the vest is the only thing that I don't have in my closet, but I've been seeing it paired so many cute ways that I definitely want to pick one up. And tights are my fall go-to!

    I have everything but the vest. I have a black jersey vest/cardigan. I would have to say that tights are a must. I have a pair and i'm hoping to get some more. YOu can totally turn something Summer into fall with a pair of tights and boots.

    Totally agree with a good blazer – I splurged and bought one from Zara (was about $90 AUD) and it goes with everything and instantly makes my outfits look "smart"! Haha. Good tips ๐Ÿ™‚

    Great post! I definitely follow your advice with the blazers and boots and tights, I'm addicted to blazers right now! Not really into the utility vests, and I wish I'd gotten into more of the scarf trend while it was cold here (im in Australia!). Now it's heating up it'd be too hot to wear scarfs.
    I think due to the amazingness of tights I pretty much wear the same clothes all year in every season. Just layer them!
