Way Back Wednesday

Okay, so these photos aren’t wayyy back, but they were taken before my bridal shower at the beginning of August (which feels like way back). I feel like I’m on a mad dash to get all of my summer photos on the blog before the first leaves turn. I always feel a little sad when the leaves start to fall. The weather cools, the night falls sooner and it always makes me a little nostalgic for boat rides and suntan lotion. However, with the closing season of summer, I can’t help but look forward to all of the autumn things I love: carving pumpkins, bonfires and sweatshirts, holidays with family and candy corn. In addition, while I usually dread the transition from fall to winter simply due to the snow+driving combo, this year I not only have Christmas, Hannukah and Christmas carols to look forward to, but also our wedding. I couldn’t be more excited for the next four months!

    I married the sweetest man on a beautiful fall day 19 years ago. Three little girls first came to me in the fall. And fall means football games and cheerleaders. So … fall is connected to the most special people in my life! 🙂 Fall is hands down the best season!!!
