Work Event and What My Mr. Wore

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago to a business casual evening work event on a beautiful farm. The night was gorgeous and the event was held in one of those big old barns that you see on Pinterest now a days. I was frantically texting pictures to a girlfriend who has mentioned finding one for her wedding one day. My boss had invited me and Mr. Coffee Beans, and we enjoyed the evening air along with the festivities of the night. I had originally purchased this dress to wear to my first wedding shower, but after my mother convinced me to wear a more neutral tone, I decided to find something else. However, I couldn’t bring myself to return this little number. Something about it seems so sophisticated and Breakfast at Tiffany’s like. I know it will remain a classic staple piece in my dress collection.

The Mr. has agreed to showcase some men’s wear from time to time on the good ole blog. With the stipulation his face not be shown. What a hoot! He isn’t really one for shopping like me, but when the boy dresses up he looks purdy.

    That dress is beautiful on you! Your Mr. looks nice too. My BF NEVER shops! I guess guys have those few pieces and that's all they need…..I don't see how they do it!

    My hubs loves to shop- but wont admit it. He's the first one to scope out the sales and say "Oh let's go to the mall, I need a new… (insert manly item here)" but secretly he'll head to the men's department and scope out the latest pair of chinos!

    your dress is beautiful! really really pretty and looks fantastic on your shape. I know what you mean by wedding clothing- i always dresss inappropritly (leopard print usually).
