Hey all, Happy Tuesday. Sorry for my lack of CCM yesterday, the weekend got a bit crazy and then last night we spent 5 hours in the ER with a friend who is very lucky thank God. I’m sure you all understand and didn’t miss me too much. 🙂
Like my sparkly loafers seen here, tweed is another one fiance just doesn’t get. I actually think a lot of people don’t get tweed. They think it’s old, dated, etc. Fiance kept asking me if I knew I was wearing something a Grandma would. I don’t know about you, but my Gma would never rock this outfit, so I say to all the tweed rockin’ Gma’s out there, You go girls!

Personally I think tweed is a classic. I love really well-done tweed in a classic color, but also enjoy when it gets updated with a trendier color. I have a pumpkin-colored tweed blazer, myself, as well as a tweed skirt or two.

I am definitely on team LOVE TWEED. It is not grandma-ish at all. When I used to work for White House Black Market they were known for their beautiful tweed and herringbone pieces for Fall/Winter especially their blazers, so I purchased some.
Your blazer is very Chanel-like and it looks awesome with the glasses, bracelets & pink watch.

I love tweed! I have a tweed pencil skirt that is so perfect with tights for fall! I think it depends on how you style it – what accessories, etc – on whether it looks Gma like!
