…Holiday activities. Remember when I did a post on Fall activities (here)? Well, I thought I would share some of my favorite holiday activities today considering tomorrow is December 1st…where did this year go?
#1. Bake!
Why just make it a day thing? Grab some dinner and make a day/night of it. Make dinner, bake cookies and pop in some great holiday films!

My mom always has the best decorated cookies (she buys them people, don’t feel bad!) |
#2. Ice Skating
Is it cliche? Yes. Do I care? No. Almost every town has holiday festivals (zoos particularly) and a skating rink. Lace them up, put on a beanie and go for it. I would be willing to bet fun will be had. Then go look at Christmas lights on the way home!
#3. See a show
Hit the town. See The Nutcracker, A Christmas Orchestra or even A Christmas Carol. Dress up, bundle up and have a date night with a friend, a honey or even your mom!
#4. Decorate
Nothing puts me in the holiday spirit like putting my decor up. Whether its a tree or just random items, whenever I look at them, I automatically feel more spirited. We watch TV with the tree shinning bright at us!
#5. Give back.
Something that will make you truly appreciate a friend, a significant other or even a relative is by giving back to the community together. Nothing makes you more humble, appreciative and blessed than doing something to better the day of someone else. Go volunteer at a food bank, go shopping for gifts and then take them to a donation area, or simply go spend time with the needy.
On that note, tomorrow the official countdown begins tomorrow:
7 days until Hanukkah
24 days until Christmas
28 days until the wedding…eek
What are your favorite holiday activities? Caroling? Shopping? Spill!
Very inspirational post ! Thank you honey ! Have a nice weekend !

I suck at ice skating… but I go anyways. I fall. I barely move. I just like being outside on the ice, doing something cute, ha
