Friday’s Top Five…

…Boots for fall.

If you’re like me, boots are pretty much like pumps…you can never have too many. These are some of the styles I’m craving this fall and winter.

#1. Sky High Booties
I’ve always thought that with short legs I couldn’t pull off a short booty, but I’m ready to push the envelope this year. I am in love with all booties sky high- no matter the color and especially prints!

#2. Navajo Inspired
Have you seen the adorable Navajo inspired sweaters floating around? Love them! So why not love some boots too? Even if this style only sticks around for a bit, its one I’m hoping to add to my wardrobe.

 
#3. Color blocked
Whether on your body or on your feet, color blocking is a win in my book.
 
 #4. Moto Boots
Somewhere hipsters everywhere are frantic because something they are currently wearing is “in.” Well, I don’t blame them, or anyone for loving them. They give even the most glamorous of outfits an edgy “coolness.”
 
 
 
 #5. The Chelsea Boot
Tight fitting, Victorian era inspired equestrian boots. I don’t ride horses, but I would sport a pretty pair of these in flat or wedge form.
In other news, did anyone read this article about UGGS being in trouble? They really are UGG-LY, but they are also warm and cozy, so I will continue to wear mine. Fashionable or not, they are warm!

    I used to joke that Ugg was short for ugly. Then I tried some on. Fast forward and I have 4 pairs and love how toasty warm they keep me. My latest boot obsession is cowboy boots. The hubs is from out west and talked me into a pair a couple of years ago. I now have 3 pairs. Rock those sky high booties!

    Moto boots! I got a great pair for riding on the motorcycle, but now they're working out for the cold weather. 🙂 Starting to love/want some suede fringe boots as well. This is the best trend/season imo!

    I love boots in most shapes and colors, but I tend to just stick with a classic riding boot. I can invest more money and get a nicer boot that will hopefully last me years. I have black, brown and gray. I might get some cheap ankle boots this year though – they are so cute!
