A couple of weekends ago, we headed to a wedding of some family friends of fiances. I always enjoy weddings off season because I like seeing how the bride envisioned her non-spring/summer dream world. It was such a fun time, and I definitely saw some Pinterest inspired ideas, some of which I plan on using as well.
On another note, I always struggle this time of year with wearing tights of not. This particular day it was about 60 degrees, so even though it’s mid November, I opted out for tights. My mom would be ashamed of me…sorry ma.

I took the jacket off to boogie down as the night progressed, but none of the pictures are quality enough to show, sorry!
What do you think, should I have made my mother proud and worn tights? What’s your go to winter wedding gear? Im just glad I don’t have to pick an outfit to wear for our wedding, it’s going to be cold!

I'm a huge fan of pairing blazers with dresses. Regardless of the time of year, you've got to dress according to the weather. I doubt I would've worn tights either.

I love that look! I think that needing to wear tights is an old rule that can definitely be broken. If it isn't cold enough to need them then why bother?!

I am totally with you on the whole to wear or not to wear tights. It's cold in the morning, but hot in the afternoons…it confuses me 🙂 Needless to say pants are a staple right now.

Love your outfit. Dont' worry about the tights. My mother in law was appalled that i didn't wear them on my wedding day, which happened to be in August. YOu have to wear what you're comfortable with. If you're not comfortable, people will notice.

I also opted out of tights for a November wedding, it was 58! Didn't wanna do it, I felt like it was acceptable!
