Hello all, I know I said I would have a holiday hair tutorial for you all today and guess what? I don’t. I sat on the couch and took a nap last night because I wasn’t feeling well. I think my body is yelling at me, “Hey crazy Hanukkah celebrating, Christmas loving, Bridezilla….calm the heck down and give me a break what don’tcha?”
Then while wasting time this morning (as I usually do), I came across this Pin I pinned a few months back and it made me stop to think. We rush rush rush in life (and especially this time of year) to get things done, but only when a moment has passed do we ever say “wow, I wish I could relive that moment because it was just spectacular.” Every time someone asks how wedding planning is going, Ive been giving the look of despair or saying, “don’t ever have a Holiday wedding.” But I don’t want it to be like that. I love planning and holidays, so this should be such a fun time for me and I’m losing sight of that and what really matters. So, I’m sorry I don’t have a hair tutorial for you all today. I promise to try next week, but if it doesn’t happen then either, well, I hope you’ll understand. Things may be slightly sluggish over the next few weeks for CB&BP. I promise though to come back in 2013 kicking and alive and I can’t wait to share all the wedding goodies, New Years eve hoppin’ times with you!

It's so important to listen to your body. Last night I had all these great plans for what I was going to do and I realized I just needed to slow down. Good for you!
I can totally understand that you need a break with all you've got going on! It is so important to slow down and enjoy the moments. Especially for you now with your wedding approaching! Your wedding day will be over in a flash (it seriously was the fastest day of my life) so make sure you savor everything!

Take a break lady! I ended up planning my wedding during the year I was 1.graduating from college, 2.moving back home from out of state, 3.finding a job and 4.buying our first house. Talk about stress! I gave myself migraines on an almost daily basis. Relax and enjoy each and every part of this exciting moment in your life. We'll forgive you for a little break. 🙂

Aw, I think every bride who doesn't elope has those moments where you're like, what am I doing? I got married in the spring, but I felt the same way at times. Just take a deep breath, put things in perspective and remember you only get to do this once, so try to enjoy it! It will all hit you how worth it it is when you take it all in on your big day!

Don't apologize for being busy when your wedding is so soon, girl! Having been my own bridezilla this past summer (just got married in September), I know the kind of stress planning a wedding can be. I can't even imagine trying to do it during the holidays as well!
