I was so flattered when Amy invited me to guest post on Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins. I’m Amber and I write FACE IT Catalog where I post about my personal style, beauty tips, and the things I love.

 
This outfit is an ode to the upcoming holiday with some very bright pink. To be honest, pink is not a common color in my wardrobe, I gravitate towards black, green, red, and gold so much. To break away from my normal color scheme, I purchased this two toned pink top from LOFT. Since it has been so warm in San Diego recently, this light weight and breezy top feels just right for just about everything from running errands to a dinner date. Casual but still a little dressy.

For makeup, I really switch it up with a variety of lipstick shades and for this outfit MAC Angel kept me in line with the pink theme. This shade is really flattering on many skin-tones. It can make you look a little mod or can be great with smokey eyes, here I did my signature smokey brown eye look – tutorial here.
