Hello there, Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins readers! I’m Morgan from See Mo Go. Since the lovely Miss Amy is becoming a Mrs. this week, I’m helping out with a little guest post (and I’m super excited about it โ so thanks, Amy!).
It just so happens that I attended a winter wedding this weekend for a close family friend and went through a few dozen outfit options. It was outdoors (I live in SoCal so this is still possible in late December) and more of a casual vibe, so I wanted to be the perfect combination of chic & cozy.
Here’s what I wore:
I fell in love with this Anthro dress as soon as I saw it and when it when on sale earlier this month, I squealed at work. Literally squealed. Super awkward office conversation. What can I say? Polka dots and tulle skirts have that effect on me.
I love the girly details and thought it was perfect paired with this sweet bow necklace (an Etsy find from one of my best girlfriends!) and a classic red lip.
I’m also thinking about remixing this dress for a night out with a sleek black blazer, some black pumps and some sparkly tights. How would you style it? I’d love your suggestions. Hop on over to See Mo Go. for more fashion, beauty, food and fun! And a big CONGRATS to the beautiful bride! ๐
xo,
Mo

Awe – thanks, Lynette! Polka dots are definitely my favorite, too. ๐
holy cannoli, i would have squealed as well! i love how you accessorized the dress and how you would remix it for a night out! i would edge-it-up with a black leather jacket, some black tights, killer black booties, and some drapey chain necklaces!

LOVE the idea of edging this up a bit – I always have trouble with that (I tend to go more "girly when I accesorize) – I'll have to try it! ๐
