Before you think it, let me say it. I think everyone and their mom has this polka dot gem from J.Crew. Anndd..I believe everyone since Christmas has styled this shirt in a similar fashion. But you know what? I don’t mind. I love this shirt and even though this post may be a tad unoriginal, sometimes it’s nice to just wear an outfit because you truly like it.

On another note, I wore this outfit to have my wedding mani/pedi done (hints why I have flats on instead of boots and sock in the snow). 🙂 For those of you that remember this post and are curious to what I decided, I did a simple shellac french manicure on my nails and a deep eggplant purple on my toes.

    I don't have either of those tops, so I really like this outfit! Sometimes its annoying when EVERYONE does the same thing, but I like to see how people use different pieces and put their spin on them.

    Hi Amy! I think you look fabulous! I totally don't mind seeing how different bloggers style the same pieces in different ways. As long as the whole look isn't copied then I think it's inspiring to see how bloggers put their own spin on something! Plus it's great to see how versatile different pieces can really be. I personally love this combo and I think you look great!

    I like seeing subtle difference. I especially love this outfit and yes, I've seen similar versions on other blogs. I love the combo of sequins and plaid together.

    Maybe I just don't read enough fashion blogs but this is the first time I've seen the sparkle JCrew sweater with polka dots mixed with the awesome "Christmas" like plaid. I love it. And I don't think it's tired at all, this look is classic, and classics are meant to be celebrated!

    Congrats on the wedding – I can't wait to see pictures. I'm a new reader but I can already tell you probably styled that shin dig fabulously! 🙂

    Aww honey, wrong title, totes NOT unoriginal, you're really unique and stylish! I LOVE LOVE that statement top with the sequin polka dot top, just the right amount of special-ness to add some oomph to the whole look. You should know I'm a huuuuge fan of provoking pieces.
