If you follow me on Twitter (amycbandbp) or Instagram (amy_cbandbp), you’ll know that we got some very exciting/nerve wrecking news this past Friday. Husband matched his number one spot for residency and mid-June we will be moving to North Carolina. I’m definitely nervous and super sad to leave Ohio. Ive lived here all of my life and all of the people I love are here, but I guess that’s what phones, skype and planes are for right? I’m looking forward to actually having the sunshine and less snow! Anyway, the next few months should be interesting/busy!

On another note, when I bought this jacket from J.Crew about 2 years ago, I was never aware of the versatility it would have. My sister-in-law told me this weekend that now J.crew Factory was carrying it and she had recently picked it up. I can’t find it on the site, but I suggest paying J.Crew Factory a visit if there is one nearby. I’ve styled it Here, Here (similar to today’s post), and Here.

I wish I had Olivia P’s Starbucks right about now! Happy Monday!

    They have one like that at Old Navy too! I've had my eye on it but I couldn't figure out if I wanted to get a nicer version or not. Maybe I'll check out JCrew factory. Congratulations to your husband!

    As far as Duke… no clue! I've never been to that university or surrounding areas (only UNC/NCState/ECU).

    Love your jacket. It's fabulous. I'm sorry that you will be moving. It's hard to start a new life somewhere, make new friends. I did that 9 years ago and it was hard. I'm style adjusting, plus now I have a 4 yr old boy. Life is always changing and it's what we do with it that matters. Love your outfit.

    I love the jacket. You are right the jacket is so versatile, I have seen it styled with dresses, trousers, shorts. And you gotta love a piece you can mix and match easily.

    First of all, you totally sound like me!! My husband and I moved from our hometown this past summer for him to start law school. It has been a really difficult transition (since we literally knew no one) and really emotional too, but it is also exciting to go someplace new! You will be closer to the beach and it is warmer down here in the south (we are in MS). And NC is beautiful! Congrats to your hubby!

    Second, I love OP. She can literally do no wrong. And your outfit looks fantastic.

    First things first, LOVE your outfit. Second, my hubs and I live in Morrisville, NC which is a suburb in between Durham and Raleigh and we LOVE it. We may actually have the chance to get coffee and meet! Durham can be a little sketchy in some areas so if your hubs doesn't mind a 20-25 minute commute I would say definitely check out Morrisville or the areas of Durham that are next to Morrisville. Great area! And you are 15-20 minutes from everything, Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill (which includes some AWESOME shopping). I'd be happy to offer an more information on the area that could be beneficial for ya, just let me know!! So excited for you!!!!! =)

    i am in NC, but in Charlotte, husband got his MBA at Duke though, pretty sure you wouldn't want to live anywhere near where he lived LOL
