Everlasting Winter

I don’t know if its the fact that in less than 4 days we will know where we will spend the next 4-5 years of our lives, or if other bloggers who live in more southern areas are just making me extremely jelly, but I feel like winter is taking it’s sweet ole time this year. This past weekend we had a little teaser of sunshine and warmth and now the forecast is calling for snow again….Anyway…

Two weeks ago we ventured to Cleveland and meandered around the market and took a tour of the Great Lakes Brewery. My best friend was visiting, so it seemed appropriate to get out and do something different- however, it was cold. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to just layer the green utility jacket or the fur over my LBD, so I did what anyone incapable of making decisions would do…I wore them both! Too much?

Are signs of spring popping up where you are or is old man winter still looming?

    I don't think the jacket and vest together are too much…you rock them both! This weekend was SO nice, but I hear this week its going to get cold again. I'm over the cold…bring on spring!

    I'm glad you decided to wear both, they look great together! I'm right with you on the cold weather, Michigan just does not want to warm up and if it does it's only for two lovely days and after that it's back to cold and snow. I just want to wear some open toed shoes and not freeze! 🙂

    I feel like because of blogging this year winter seems like it will NEVER end! We have 3 super cold days ahead of us then 75 degree days and then way back to cold. It's so hard to dress for!

    love your vest and the whole look. just seeing bits of left over snow in your pics is making me chilly! 😉 while you're bundled up in neutrals I'm in fuchsia and yellow! i'm tired of winter and pushing for spring in my wardrobe. it's not so chilly here in GA though. bring on the warmth and days of longer sunshine!

    I feel ya on the weather girl. It's not snowing here in Charlotte, but I feel like it's either rainy, cold, or just dreary all the time! I just got back from FL and it as sunny and beautiful every day! Just ready for Spring!! I hope you get somewhere nice/awesome for your hubby's residency! Good luck!

    Winter is definitely taking its time… Overextending its welcome, I'd say.

    4-5 days… Are you referring to the match? (I work for the AAFP, so this term isn't completely foreign to me, haha.)
