I am still feeling a bit under the weather which means between the time I publish this post and 4:30pm this afternoon, I better get to feeling a WHOLE lot better because it’s my burffday (Cinderella reference anyone?). Tonight, that cute guy I married and I are going to celebrate BOTH of our Birthday’s (his being April 1st, no joke). We are going to our fav place in town and sadly, it will probably be the last time we visit before moving. So, I’m going to eat like a fat kid and enjoy every moment of it, Husband may even have to roll me home. 
Usually I’m rather obnoxious and insist on celebrating a whole week, but this year, I celebrated the majority of the beginning of the week with Gatorade and my pillow. I’ve officially learned my over-celebrating lesson. Although I didn’t celebrate Monday/Tuesday/OR Wednesday per usual leading up to my birthday (gesh, this is getting depressing). I did get to do some celebrating with my absolute favorite ladies from college this past weekend during a little girls getaway trip to visit a friend in her new area. Even though I love my husband, sometimes getting away with ladies who know you and all the embarrassing details about you (yet love you anyway) are seriously just the best. We did some gossiping, shopping and mimosa drinking throughout the weekend sprinkled with a bit of coconut cake eating and present opening. Those ladies seriously make my life and golly, I sure am going to miss them so much when we move.

    Happy Birthday! I too believe in celebrating your birthday week (or month). Why should you only get one day? My hubs has never been a big birthday celebrator so it has taken him a while to learn that we celebrate for a long time.

    I love that jacket! My favorite way to celebrate my bday is to have a cake not made by me. i'm the baker in the family…and they think I'm going to bake MY OWN CAKE??? Even if their cakes isn't as moist and delicious as mine, I still want it. It shows that they love me lol.
