Hey all, sorry I’m a little late with my post this morning, but I’ve been perusing the Next Issue App on my iPad. I’m heading home to Ohio tomorrow and I have a two hour layover in the process, which means time to catch up on some magazines and my celebrity gossip. Usually before traveling, Ill buy a few magazines to flip through while Im at the airport. However, I have such a hard time deciding which ones to get and I also hate spending $6-7 bucks on each one. I’d rather spend that on my latte. So, when I was contacted to review Next Issue, an iPad app that bring you over 90 top publishers including Real Simple, Vanity Fair, People, etc., I was thrilled. Perfect timing, am I right?
I sat down this morning to explore the app and I was amazed at how quick and convenient it was to set up. I just created a log in and then through the simple directory picked about 10 titles I wanted to add to my custom library (you can also log-in through Facebook, easy as pie). Everything I would buy at the store was right there on my iPad within a flick and a touch. What’s also great about Next Issue is that the monthly fee is less than what I would typically spend on 2-3 magazines. Affordability, no paper waste, and months and months of my favorite titles to flip through? Seems like a win-win to me.
I now have extra room in my carry on (thank the Lord…. Im such a terrible packer) because I don’t have to carry my iPad+magazine after magazine. They are all right there in my library waiting for me to read and sip on coffee during my layover.
What’s even better is that you can try Next Issue for 30 days FREE on a trial basis and if you fall in love (which I know you will), it’s only $9.99 a month, or $14.00 a month (for the premium package). And, you can also stretch that membership across five different devices if your sweetie is an avid reader as well.
Think you’ll give it a try?
Have a great Thursday all, Im off to make some meals for the hubs so he doesn’t starve while I’m gone. (Perhaps Ill use Cooking Light to find some new recipes on the Next Issue app).
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
