Maxi AGAIN. Told you I had another lined up for ya’ll this morning. Even better? Im back with the lovely Kathleen of Carrie Bradshaw Lied to show you how we wear our casual maxis. Do you remember this post when we showed you our FANCY pants ones? Kathleen just started an amazing job with Urban Decay in CA (Her husband is also a first year resident), so you should totally go visit her and tell her congrats! I keep trying to convince her to switch lives with me for awhile, Ill be big city living and work at her job and she can be unemployed in our loft all day. She’s not going for it though, something about missing her husband too much or some garbage (I kid, I kid). And how gorgeous is that Maxi? Send it my way when you’re finished Kat!

Speaking of husbands. Last night we went to play trivia with some other residents. GUYS. I was mortified. I no joke had a Bridget Jones moment when I thought I knew the answer to a Pretty Woman question. A FREAKING PRETTY WOMAN QUESTION! ONLY ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME! They all believed me and just like in the movie I crashed and burned. Granted, we wouldn’t have won even if I would have got the answer right, but I felt so dumb. Why is it that we feel most stupid around those that don’t know us? If we were sitting around a table of our friends we’ve made here or friends from back home, I wouldn’t have felt so insecure. Blarg. My sweet husband kept informing me that it wasn’t a big deal, who cares, you’re smart. That’s why I married that man- so that when I completely embarrass myself someone is there to blow my confidence back up.

On another note since Im so chatty today, how fab is this coral slit dress form Lulu’s? It was on fire outside the day I snapped these pics (thanks Lisa) and it was perfect for the warm weather. I love the slit detail, since the dress is more plain, I think it adds the perfect amount of something, don’t you? Make sure you check LuLus out if you haven’t. As usual, I want one of everything.
