 This dress has been staring at me all summer. “Wear me” it’s been screaming. So, the other day on my way to a Junior League meeting, I put this little red hot number on only to find I didn’t have any shoes that worked well enough with it. Enter another screaming closet item, these shoes I bought my sophomore year of college (and haven’t worn since then), that I am incapable of getting rid of because I love their personality. I knew I help onto these shoes for a reason. Does this ever happen to you?

Today Im taking the NC driver’s test. Apparently it’s hard, so Im currently studying. Who does this once they’ve graduated college? #nerdalert There is seriously something sad about the thought of passing and getting a new license. It will mean Im officially a resident of North Carolina which means good ole NC is home now and Ohio is just that place where Im from- paperwork speaking of course. <le sigh>

    What a cute dress! Glad you got it out of the closet before the summer was over! Although that would probably look really nice in the fall too. You were right in holding onto those shoes – they've got so much personality! I moved away from Massachusetts in early 2012 but haven't gotten a new license yet – they can't make meeeee!

    Stunning color! That dress looks amazing on you. I love eyelet, and those shoes are too cute! I have shoes from college that I don't even wear that I won't retire. Too many good memories dancing in those puppies — ohh if those shoes could talk!

    When I moved to OH, I had to take the test. And I just recently took the motorcycle test for Ohio as well! Don't worry, I studied too. Hope you passed!! But if you didn't and your license isn't close to expiring, I would keep the OH one!
