 This past Friday felt like a weekend day. It was my last official unemployed Friday and Aaron was off. We spent the day exploring, having a casual lunch, singing loudly in the car pretending to be gangstas, making apple pie from scratch (a first for both of us), caramel apples, dinner at a new place and then a game of Scrabble to finish the night (I won). It was one of those perfect days that even though something imperfect happens like rain or a wrinkly shirt, you don’t even seem to notice. Perfect days for me, call for perfect tulle skirts and kiss tees. I know everyone and their mom has this tee (it’s on the front of the J.Crew magazine), so Im not surprised. I picked it up and have been holding onto it to pair with this skirt. I’d like to think I have one up on J.Crew for styling (ha). Getting a job and going to a french restaurant seemed like the perfect place to bust it out finally.

On another note- today is my first day at my new job and I can assure you, I am much more professionally dressed than this tulle skirt. That’s what the weekends are for right? Tulle, berry lips and strappy sandals? Wish me luck. I am filled with nerves, excitement and anxiety as I approach my new job, but I know it’s all in His plan for me.
