How to: Stay Healthy this Winter

It happens to me every season, right around the holidays– I get stuffy, sneezy and icky. The cold and the germs that fly around get me every time- that’s why this season, I plan on staying healthy and am prepping early thanks to the help of Walgreens. Walgreens mobile app is so easy to use and has a ton of features from refilling prescriptions, setting pill reminders, pharmacy chat and SO much more. As you can see from the photos below, the app has many different features. I use it daily for the pill reminder which helps me remember to take my daily vitamins since I am literally the worst at remembering them. Additionally, the app is great for not only locating the nearest Walgreens, but also looking for deals in the weekly ad section. Although it’s a great pharmacy and carries everything I need to prevent a cold this season, it also has many of the beauty products I use on a daily basis such as nailpolish and makeup. Using the weekly ads feature, I am able to scope out what’s on sale that week and make sure that I get my favorite items at the best prices possible.

They are definitely my go to pharmacy when the common cold strikes, but this year I’m hoping to prevent it beforehand! Luckily, a location is right down the street from me at my office, so on my lunch break I headed over to the store to pick up some preventative items. 

Water: it’s always best to stay hydrated, sick or not. I love this bottled water because its easy to drink on the go and also has electrolytes.

Purell: keep germs away from me!

Chapstick and Moisturizer: helping my skin stay fresh despite the dry air
