Charleston Recap

If you didn’t already know from yesterday or from my Instagram (@amy_cbandbp) this past weekend, Aaron and I took a weekend trip to Charleston for a belated anniversary getaway. I wanted to share some pictures from the weekend with y’all. We literally spent the weekend walking around looking at the historic mansions pretending we will one day be able to afford one (it’s a game we often play). The rest of the weekend was spent enjoying Aaron’s time off, eating delicious food and reading every historical sign we came across (Aaron is a history buff)!
Upon our arrival to our hotel (which was an adorable bed and breakfast), Aaron had champagne, strawberries and a single red rose waiting. Not to mention, he had made plans for a rickshaw ride as well as reservations at the most amazing place I’ve ever eaten. It was a little chilly and windy all weekend, but overall it was a great and I can’t wait to go back to visit again!

    Sounds like the perfect anniversary trip!! If you have a chance and can give some recommendations on places to go/see i'd really appreciate it!! We're headed there in March for a wedding and have a few days extra to sight see and EAT!
