Last year I shared this look for my Valentine’s Day post. As I mentioned last week, Aaron and I don’t get too big into Valentine’s gifts. Although gifts are fun, right now at this point in our lives, it’s just not possible. Between all those big kid expenses and student loans, it will be quite a bit of time before we’re able to splurge on fancy schmancy gifts for holidays (especially the smaller ones). Today, I wanted to share two different looks with y’all, one night out (posted last year) and one look for a night in (Pj’s and champagne anyone?). I love both ideas. I love getting fancy, spiffing up with my guy and enjoying a night out, but I also love throwing some PJ’s on and sitting with my love and pup over some nice homemade dinner and a bottle of wine (or water). Depending on the day, the situation and the weather (which last night NC got about 5 inches), I love both.

    The plan for this year is in for sure. With this winter storm hitting, I'll be surprised if anyone goes out! We've already decided to order in a lot of sushi and watch season 2 of House of Cards. I'm sure some wine will wander into my cup somehow! 🙂

    This is such a fun, festive skirt – I love it! And your PJs are adorable too. I think my fiance and I are going to stay in and get take out on VDay night, and then do our big date on Saturday night to beat some of the crowd! 😉
