My Favorite Lipsticks

Recently my girlfriends and I had a lipstick discussion
about what we could and couldn’t pull off. Basically it consisted of me
convincing them that they too can pull off a bright pink or red. I think most
ladies can pull off a variety of colors, but they are simply too hesitant. I
rarely wear Candy Yum Yum to my corporate position, but I sure do love to rock
that color on the weekends. The trick to wearing bright and colorful lipstick
is seriously to ease yourself into it. Below are a few of my favorites.

Revlon Colorbust Soft Nude (similar here)
Perfect for those first time lipstick wearers- It’s my
favorite nude shade nice and simple. It’s also a great price point.

MAC Snob (here)
This is a perfect starter pink in my opinion. If you’re not
convinced Candy Yum Yum is for you, try this one out.
Maybelline Brazen Berry (here)
Love this color, it’s the closest color I have to Pantone’s
color of the year Radiant Orchid.  

MAC Candy Yum Yum (here)
Bright and pink, it’s so fun to add some personality to any look.

MAC Odyssey
A great pinky/berry/purple mix.

MAC Ruby Woo (here)
Classic red and my husband’s least favorite hue I wear.
MAC Rebel (here)
One of my favorites for winter, deep colored- it’s perfect for adding a little sass to your look.
Covergirl Euphoria (here)- I didn’t add the photo because through the pictures this and Rebel almost look the same. This is a great option for those who don’t want to spend 15-20 on a lipstick but still want a deep berry color.
