Peplum Dots

::Blouse
Anthropologie (
here similar here and here), Jeans Zara, Bag Marc Jacobs (similar here), Glasses Michael Kors (similar here), Shoes Nine West (similar here and great price here), Bracelets David Yurman Forever21 Stella
and Dot Cathryn Ann Designs, Necklace InPink (love this one)::
This past weekend,
I started the transition back to blonde hair. I always hate the in between look
of it after I’ve gone dark, but it’s a process. My husband requested that I
just pick a color and stay with it, but where is the fun in that? I always like
a lighter shade for summer, so I’m starting the transition early so I can be
back to blonde before my girlfriend gets married in July. Plus, I honestly don’t
think my husband cares about my hair color (although once he admitted he likes
me blonde best), I think for him it’s a money thing. He constantly reminds me
that his hair cut costs $12.00- sorry buddy….

Do your husbands/boyfriends, etc complain about the price of pampering yourself? My husband scoffs at the idea of monthly manicures and all things girly. I told him to feel free to pamper himself if he’d like from time to time. 🙂
Have a great day y’all, thanks for reading! xoxox

My husband has similarly complained the couple of times that I've made the transition from brown back to blonde. Especially when I go back to brown with five months!

I have such a weakness for Anthropologie and this top is going on my Wishlist! I have to say, though, it looks much better on you than on the model! Also, this week I made the edamame salad that you posted a few weeks ago…it was delicious! Thanks!

That's one of the joys of being single… no one judges or scoffs at how much money I spend(on myself or otherwise)! My new hairdresser said I should get some highlights for spring/summer and although I've decided I'm against putting more dye in my hair (I was a box dyer for a years), if it's done professionally and with the right stuff it can't be bad.. right?

I'm always envious of your hair though, it looks so healthy! I'm sure you've made a post about it before, but what products do you use? 🙂

I love this top oh-so-much on you! You look beautiful, Am! And I hate when my hair is in-between coloring, too, but I think yours looks great here! I was laughing reading this though.. my fiance always cracks up when I talk about salon-anything. He shaves his head so he just dies seeing salon-prices. But it's totally worth it- you wear your hair every day, right?! 🙂

I love you candy-colored necklace! My Husband's favorite aunt is a well-know salon owner in the area, so she does my color and cut most of the time. She does the kid's and my Husband's hair too. I do go to another hairdresser when his aunt and I can't get our schedules together and it's about $80.00 to trim and touch up my roots. I actually like this sandy in-between color you've got going on.

I kinda like this in-between look on you! It looks like a deliberate ombre. I can't wait to see you back in blonde though, that will be a great look for the summer.

My husband 'complains' about all the beauty products that I've got and all the nail polish bottles! He doesn't understand that there are different shades of red and they all serve different purpose…. Men!
