I have a hard time wearing white after Labor Day. I don’t
really think that the “rule” applies any longer in society, but it most
certainly did when I was younger, so I always feel a little awkward wearing
white prematurely in the year as an adult. However, GUESS sent me these
adorable pants and while I am looking forward to wearing them with summer
sandals and flip flops, I also thought they’d be cute with boots. And since you
can’t wear boots in 90 degree weather (if you don’t want to have a heat
stroke), I decided to be a rebel and give them a test run before Memorial Day
comes around. I’m not even sad about it one bit either because I like the look
of something crisp and white against darker colors. These jeans are sure to be
on repeat throughout the year…now to just keep them stain free!

I really never wear white even before Labor Day – if it's pants/a skirt I'm too paranoid I'll stain them permanently and white tops are usually too sheer for me to feel comfortable in. But I love the olive top, one of my favorite colors! 🙂
