There is just something about a maxi skirt that I love, which is odd because two years ago, I would have never worn one in fear that it would gobble me up. I read that somewhere… that short girls shouldn’t wear maxi skirts. I would eye my best friend in them with her tall and slender frame and wish for a few more inches on my 5’2 body. Gorgeousness. Then one day I just said screw it and I bought one. Short girls can’t wear maxis? False.
This ShopRiffRaff maxi is pretty stinking fantastic and although this look is very layered (it was windy and kind of cold still when these pictures were snapped by Molly), I am looking forward to pairing it with some summer wear like a tank top and some open toe wedges. How fun is the ombreness of it paired with that slit?
