I love effortless looks that are put together and still comfortable. This past weekend I had lunch with a girlfriend and threw this on. It was a glorious day out and although it’s not quite summer, I put on my white jeans because let’s face it, it’s already 80 degrees here in NC. Well that and I simply don’t think that Memorial Day/Labor Day rule applies anymore (rebel I tell ya). I also decided to go with this Everly and Ace top because its adorable and again, easy. I had about 20 minutes to make myself presentable for lunch and knowing this top is already embellished took about five minutes out of my get ready time (sometimes it takes that long to pick a good necklace). I also love the light fabric because it’s warm enough for AC set at 60, but also light enough to not sweat your face off outside. With Aaron working so much, I always appreciate when one of my girlfriends can swing the camera around and take some photos of me as awkward as it may be!

    Easter is a much better gauge of wearing white than Memorial Day (especially in the South, where Memorial Day hasn't been around as long). New white sandals for Easter Sunday and new white suits for the boys — with a hat, of course! — is very traditional. So I say you are in the clear, Southern Belle! 😉
