Orange- the new Black?

Apparently orange is the new black…..and also a great TV show (any watchers? I’m debating). If there is one color in my wardrobe I tend to shy away from it’s orange. I probably only have a few things in this hue and not because I don’t like it, in fact, I’m not really sure why… So my dear friends, I went on a search of some adorable orange items. These Valentino orange flats? Yes please. I’m even loving this retro looking bag- it reminds me of something my sister’s carried in high school. Floral, stripes, lipstick….orange seems to be a color I’m lacking in and I think summer is the perfect time to remedy this problem. Below are all of the pieces above, plus some additional. 🙂

Are there any colors you tend to shy away from? My friend thinks she’s too pale for blush  (she’s not and she’s gorgeous) and I know red heads shy away from red, and yet, I think they look gorgeous in the hue- so tell me, what color do you hate/don’t wear?

I am going to find some orange to wear this summer, orange you glad? (sorry, had to).

    I usually stray away from yellow. I have blonde hair and fair skin so I feel like yellow tends to wash me out. I have one yellow dress that I love wearing but usually wear it with a darker colored blazer.

    Loving the orange looks. I don't really own a lot of orange either. Going shopping today so I may just find myself something orange.

    Love all the orange. I don't think I have ANY in my wardrobe. I need to fix that stat. Also, just started watching Orange is the new Black and its not for those who hate cussing, sex and scandal.. but its hard to not watch. It sucks you in!
