As I get older, I am slowly embracing the idea of taking
better care of my skin. When I was in high school and college, I went to the
tanning bed, slept with makeup on and never moisturized, but now that I’m
closer to 30 than 20 (how depressing), I know I need to take better care of
myself (and skin). Enter Target- I go in for one thing and leave with 50
things- all necessary of course. And one of the ways I get #mysummerlook is by
using their sunscreen moisturizers and other great skin care products. Obviously smooth legs are important for us women, so I started with the Schick Hydro Silk
Sensitive (Razor) and Skintimate Sensitive Shave Gel. After, I lathered up with the Silk Hydration 30 SPF 6 oz Lotion Sunscreen, I can’t say
enough about that stuff- moisturizing sunscreen, I think yes! Plus, it’s always
good to have a higher SPF as well for those easy burn areas (or for others you’re
with). My husband really lathers it on and I’m trying to follow his example. I
love being tan as the next gal, but I know in 20 years Ill be thankful that I started caring in my
20s.

Can we also take a second to discuss how fun these Sally Hansen paint pens are? I see a lot of polka dots and stripes in my nails’ futures!

I really like both the Hawaiian Tropic Hydration and Banana Boat Hydration products. The Hawaiian one smells just like .. Hawaii .. lol. And I believe the Banana Boat is scent free. Really, both products are great!

I feel your pain! I still tan before vacations, because who wants to sit in the shade with a killer burn, but other than that I've been building up a better skincare regimen since I was 20. Like you I'm closer to 30 than 20, yikes! Definitely a thumbs up on the Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. It's my fave!

I never lather on enough sunscreen either. My pale skin doesn't love the sun, I need to make sure to use a proper amount too! #client

I'm good about putting sunscreen on my kids but I have to be better about myself! Thanks for the reminder. #client
