I love a good date night out just like any girl. I love getting fancy, ordering dessert and sitting at a quiet table in the back of a quaint restaurant sipping wine and chatting away like I’m on a first date. However, with Aaron’s schedule, it’s a little challenging to plan too many of these type of nights since we never know when he’ll get off AND, let’s be honest- those nights out can be a little expensive on the pocket book. Enter DiGiorno Design a Pizza Kits. Design your #summergoodies, open a bottle of vino, light some candles and voila- you’ve created you own night, in your own home. I picked this kit up at Walmart and in about 30 minutes, we had oven ready pizza that Aaron said was “delicious.” Plus, you get to decorate them yourself which is great if you’re not a fan of one of the toppings but your pizza companion is. For example, on the chicken pizza with pepperoni and veggies, I opted out of the chicken portion which meant I just arranged a few slices without chicken on them which Aaron in return gobbled up. It’s the perfect option for couples who don’t agree on toppings (which we do not). We ate our pie on the back deck and although we were thousands of miles away, it made me feel a bit nostalgic for our honeymoon in Italy. After that trip, I don’t think Ill ever be able to eat pizza without thinking of it. 

The spinach on top was delicious. A perfect summer night at home and Im a-okay with it. 🙂


The line also has other amazing Deisgn-A-Pizza Kit options. For those who aren’t really into pepperoni, there are sausage options as well as chicken options. I purchased one of each and they have all been delicious, plus, they are so easy that it makes them the perfect meal for not only date nights, but busy ones.
