This past Sunday was my second blogiversary. For awhile I
considered setting up a huge giveaway, or wearing some gorgeous dress with
tulle and frill- but life got in the way and honestly, I didn’t even think
about the fact that Sunday marked my second year blogging until I was in bed
that evening. I didn’t get time to post yesterday, so here I am sharing my
favorite looks from the past year and writing this post in bed when I should be
sleeping.

First, I want to say thank you for continuing to read this
little space (and to my husband and bf for encouraging me to start this little
space 2 years ago). It is so hard as a blogger to not get wrapped up in the
numbers, the sponsors, the labels. I struggle with it and I know a lot of other
bloggers do too, so it’s so important that I let y’all know first and foremost
that without readers like you, CB&BP would not be possible. So thank you
for reading and for coming back each day to read again and again.

Throughout the past two years I have experienced so many
emotions blogging: happy, sad, frustrated, grateful. I remember being so elated
when I reached 100 followers- it was so easy then to rejoice in the small
victories. My goal for the next year is to remember those feelings of elation
and stop putting so much pressure on my blog space. Blogging is not my full
time job, I work full time during the day and while sometimes I don’t have time
to do a post in the evenings, or I annoy my husband my taking 20 extra minutes
while getting ready to get the perfect “selfie,” I am so thankful to be able to
do this as a hobby that I truly enjoy. I just want to make sure that I’m
producing content that you as a reader enjoy too!

During my third year, I want to concentrate less on trying
to become “the next big blog.” Chances are it won’t happen for me, and that’s okay because while it would be amazing to be able to blog full time, I also have a great job that I am very appreciative for. What I do
want to for CB&BP this year is for great content to be written, more style risks to be taken and more interaction with y’all- the readers. And maybe, just maybe Ill learn how
to bake and share about it. J

So here is to year 3 and lots more posting to come from
CB&BP. I am so happy y’all are along for this ride and as always thank you
so much for reading and popping in from time to time to say hello- I am so
blessed.
