I mentioned last week that my girlfriends came to visit this
past weekend. It was exciting not only because they got to see our new house,
but simply because I don’t see them that often and it meant I had four straight
days with them. Sadly due to some cloudy skies, we didn’t get to soak up the
sun like we thought we would, but we did eat some delicious food and do a bit
of shopping. I have to admit when they left I shed a few tears. I wish I could
pick everyone I loved up and plop them in North Carolina next to us- but I
suppose it just makes visits that much more special. I hope they come back
sooner rather than later. J
