I’ve had numerous people email me about “beach makeup.”
While the summer is winding down, there are many beach days and beach weekends
left to be had. Plus, I personally think this easy look works not only for the
beach, but just simple days when you don’t feel like going the whole nine yards
with your beauty routine. Using a combination of Neutrogena
and some other products, this look is a fresh dewy one that is natural looking and
quick (best of all). I apologize about the lighting in these photos, they
actually looked good on the camera and then not so great when put onto the
computer. I am hoping to save my pennies and get a new and pretty one, but all
in good time. 🙂

First I begin by applying Neutrogena’sOil Free Moisturizer. This is my go-to moisturizer and even my husband uses
it. Plus, it’s great for a day at the beach or a day at the office because it
has 15SPF in it.

Next, I use Neutrogena’s Color Stick under my eyes. Since beach days require little to no makeup, I
don’t go full out with the concealer, but instead swipe a quick line under each
eye and then pat into my skin until smooth/blended.

After the concealer, I use Neutrogena’s Shine Control
Powder. I love this stuff and although I don’t typically wear it every day, it’s
great for those days when I know I need a little coverage and also might be
sweating or glistening (as I like to call it) a lot. Sun, sand, etc- hello
shine control! I apply this in areas I typically would get shiny. Nose,
forehead, chin area….

On beach days, I typically forego blush, but I love
Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Blen.

Although I don’t want to be shiny, I do like to highlight a
little and I do that a highlighter which I put right on the apples of
my cheeks. It’s kind of a creamy consistency, so I apply it with my fingers and
then just blend it right in.

Lastly, apply a good waterproof mascara, a slightly tinted lip
gloss and BAM you’re ready for a day at the beach!

**I am not applying waterproof mascara in this photo because
I was not going to the beach, but typically, when I know water is involved and
Ill be in it, waterproof all the way! Neutrogena’s Healthy Volume is a great
option!
