other day, Aaron and I noticed some Game Day Jello-O molds for some of the Big
10 teams, they didn’t have OSU, but I went home later that evening and placed
an order and they were on my door step in no time. I can’t remember the last
time I actually made Jell-O, . I have but somehow using these adorable little
molds made it exciting. I have to admit, it also made me a little nostalgic for
OH-IO. While we aren’t die hard OSU fans, many of our friends are, so we always
root for them regardless because being from the Buckeye state, it just seems
the best thing to do. Since making them (which was so easy), we have snaked on
them consistently in some of the funniest ways. A little dabble of whipped
cream, simply stand alone, you name it. These easy little pop-able would be the
cutest addition to a tailgate party! #teamjello #shop
I may or may not keep adding this little jigglers to everything in site including my frozen yogurt! All you need in vanilla, fresh berries and the adorable (and easy to make molds) and voila!- an extra addition (and flavor) to your plain and healthy treat!
heading to a Duke game this weekend, and I kept thinking, Jello-O is the
perfect recipe for tailgating, but what’s the perfect recipe for wardrobe? I
love sporting team gear, but I obviously can’t buy jerseys for every team I
love, nor do I want to. I like to make it look like Im cheering for a team, but
not look too overdone. Enter my step by step guide for dressing for sporting
events. #collectivebias
- Wear some of your team’s
colors. Below you can see I’ve picked a red and white striped tee along
with some simpler converse. Wearing your team’s colors signifies you’re
ready to cheer them on without being too flamboyant about it. Make sure
you don’t wear opposing team colors! - Be comfortable. Flats,
sandals while it’s still warm are appropriate, but I always find it odd
when women are wearing stilettos to sporting events. Unless you’re
Beyoncé, have some common sense. You’ll be up on your feet cheering, you
want to be comfy! - Layer, layer. Notice in
each outfit combo below, I have some type of jacket and even a hat for
those winter games. It’s important to be warm and comfortable so you can
enjoy the game. I know in Ohio during the winter often blankets, scarves
and gloves are needed! - Add one little fun item!
Whether it’s a buckeye necklace or a cheetah hat, pick one item as a
statement piece. I know the buckeye tattoos are big in Ohio, I always
think one on a cheek is cute and fun for such events! - Cheer, and loud! I like to
look cute when I go to sporting events, but let’s be honest, sometimes in
an Ohio winter it’s hard- that’s why I prefer fall football games. J
Regardless, cheer your heart out and most importantly, have fun!
and see if your team is on the website! For such a steal of only about 6.00
dollars, they are an extra little treat that you can take tailgating or just
keep in your fridge for little treats.
Also, make sure you go to Walmart.com for a coupon saving .75 cents on each mold kit!
