Step One: Section out the front part of your hair for braiding. If you have bangs, no problem, just keep them in the section (you will braid them back).
Step Two: Tie hair that wont be braided back (just makes things easier).
Step Three: French braid section of hair along the hairline.
Step Four: Pin braid at the back of neck. Make secure (I typically use 1-2 bobby pins)
Step Five: Once braid is pinned, gather remaining hair and braid end in pony tail at the nape of your neck. Secure with elastic band.
Step Six: Pull some pieces around the face and also pull hair upward out of band. This will give a voluminous look and make the pony tail a bit messy. If you pull too much, simply pin it back down.
Step Seven: Along the face line and braid, pull the braid wide to create a fuller look.
Step Eight: Wrap hair around the elastic and pin secure.
Today I wanted to share a simple and fun hairstyle with y’all. In just eight easy steps, you can create this messy look which I have worn everywhere from the gym to the office. I love the look of a messy hairdo every now and again and I say for this one the messier the better!
I really want to start incorporating more hair into this little blog again. I used to do it when I first started out and it just became so time consuming. Hopefully Ill post a hairstyle at least every other week! I plan to share some products I’ve been using lately and two of them are these Head and Shoulders products. I typically buy expensive shampoo since I color treat my hair, but my husband uses these products and every now and again Ill use them. I am really impressed with their new fresh scent technology- it smells great and makes my hair feel great too (and dandruff free!). Plus, my husband loves them, so they are a definite staple in our home!
Also, not sure if anyone is a big Sophia Vergara fan, but Head and Shoulders is currently hosting a sweepstakes to meet her! Read how to enter below!

love this so much! You make it look so easy. I always intend to do more with my hair (especially since it's long now) but as you said, it's just time consuming and I just get lazy as well. But, hopefully I'll feel more inspired because this look is uber cute!
