This past weekend, fall finally stopped in NC. Aaron and I woke up Sunday morning and had a lovely brunch in Chapel Hill at the Carolina Inn. It was such a beautiful place and we’re already planning our next visit. We sat for a bit before ordering and just chatted while we drank coffee which was a nice change from rushing through meals like we usually do. After, we spent the next hour walking around UNC campus chatting about college memories and the weather. The leaves are finally changing here and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s one of the things I miss most about Ohio. It happens so late here, but once it does, it’s really beautiful. It was a great little Sunday and I would be lying if I wasn’t sad to see Monday come. 
 

On another note, this poncho from Anthro was a bit of a splurge for me, but I know Ill be wearing it non stop this season as I also plan to double it as a coat! It’s one size so extra big and comfy, plus warm! I am already planning to pair it with jeans and a comfy cotton tee!

    That sounds like a lovely way to spend time with one another! It is so nice to just relax and enjoy moments like that isn't it? I love your poncho! I second your thinking that it will become a staple! Very pretty!
