Awhile back, I was sent the Emjoi Epilator to review. If you’ve been reading here for awhile, you know I review the Emjoi Micro-Pedi (here) and was extremely pleased with the results. I still use that product in between routine pedicures. So, I was thrilled when I was able to try out another product that removes unwanted hair fast. The Epilator is dual speed with 60 tweezer action disc arranged in skin-tautening dual opposing heads. With different fixtures for the tweezers, you are able to use this little product on under arms, bikini lines, legs and even areas of the face with unwanted hair. This model features innovative Erase Glide Technology, which enables the user to glide it either back and forth or in a circular motion which removes hair in seconds. The best part is that hair removal (since pulled from the root), lasts 4-6 weeks!
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the product was to use. Simply plug in and you’re ready to go. To show you how it works, I used it on a section of my arm. It does have an odd feeling when using it- simply the sensation of plucking your eyebrows since essentially that’s what the 60 little tweezers are doing. However, it’s extremely quick while working, so the process is fast, effective and relatively painless. Below you can see the hair on my arm in the before photo and the hair after which is no longer there. This little gadget really works!
Overall, I was extremely impressed/surprised by this little wonder. The Emjoi comes with a small bag to store all of the attachments, power cord and small cleaning brush to make sure pieces are kept together and not lost. I would highly recommend this product for those that hate shaving or waxing- plus at a one time fee, it can save you money if you’re a constant waxer!
What are your best get rid of hair methods? Think you’d give the Emjoi a shot?

It kind of looks freaky lol. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to use it. the sensation of plucking 60 times over? Was it really virtually painless? I'm a big chicken!

If this product is plucking out the hair from the skin, doesn't the hair have to be a certain length so it can be grabbed and plucked by the machine? Which means after you've used the machine you're always in the process of letting your stubble re-grow until it's long enough to be plucked again. Which means you look and feel prickly while you're waiting for your stubble to grow long enough. Eh. Give me my good old safety razor. I can shave legs and underarms in 2 minutes in the shower each day and always be smooth. And it's totally pain free.
