My husband will tell you that I like the host gatherings. I still have a lot to learn to be a “hostess with the mostess”- but I slowly feel like I’m getting the hang of it. This past weekend along with some of my girlfriends, we threw a shower for our friend who is expecting. After the party, I was thinking how adorable a little gum favor would be for a girl or boy- pink or blue. I am a big fan of little favors that express your gratitude but are inexpensive.
Thinking in terms of pink or blue also made me start thinking about the holidays and versatility of Extra Gum. Pink for girl, blue for boy or Apple Pie for Thanksgiving. This year, we will be hosting Thanksgiving at our house. In the past at my father in Law’s Thanksgiving we have all shared what we are thankful for- I like this little activity around the table and I think it’s a tradition we will keep in our home as we continue to host. Additionally, I plan to make little favors for guests. I threw these little guys together for fun practice, but for Thanksgiving I am thinking fall colors, Extra Apple Pie gum and a cute tag line like “We are Extra Thankful for you this year.” #ExtraGumMoments
Here is what you need:
- Cellophane bags (you can grab these for super cheap from Target
- Gum
- Tissue Paper to fill out the bag
- Ribbon
- Tags to write on (You could just use construction paper)
Put it all together, tie it up pretty with a bow and there you have it!
