I’ve mentioned here before that I don’t love my legs- they are my biggest insecurity which I blame on a lot of running and years of cheer leading. My husband is hilarious because he’s straight with me. Whenever I complain about them, he never says “babe, your legs are great, they are skinny!” His response: “they are so toned!” HA! Nice try. 
Anyway, over the years, I have found that I definitely feel more confident in longer-ish skirts and dresses. Because of my legs and the inability to ever find jeans that I feel amaazing in, I love wearing a flowy piece that I don’t feel self-conscious in. This skirt from ChicWish is a piece that I love, I love their whole site actually. The flannel material is warm, comfortable and hits right where I like skirts (covering my thighs!). And can we just discuss the need for a whiet blouse in everyone’s closet? I picked this one up from J.Crew right before the holidays and it’s a closet must. I never knew a white blouse could be so versatile, but they are, so if you don’t have one, take the plunge (wait for a sale!).

Did everyone have a good weekend? I spent yesterday brunching with my Junior League Cookbook committee, drinking mimoasas and plotting out the next great JL cookbook. They will be for sale later this fall and we’d love for you to purchase one!
Other than that, it was pretty low key! But low key is usually a good thing, so Im not complaining! Hope yours was the same (or more fun!). Happy Monday friends and thank you for reading, as always, I am entirely humbled by your support!
