I have to admit that I don’t wear my Hunter Boots often. I have a paranoia about my legs and sometimes I think they make them look even shorter and “stalkier” than they are. I have always had a leg complex- maybe it’s my genetic makeup (my mom and I are both short), or maybe it’s all those years of cheerleading- whatever the case- it’s the body part I most hate and am constantly trying to find items that “slim” them. However, on a snowy day, or even a rainy one like the many we’ve had lately, these boots are the best- warm, dry and obviously popular, they are a wardrobe staple in so many ways. 


I also suggest scoring this shirt while it’s on sale. I feel like it’s a great staple plaid and I plan to wear it year in and year out. Remember that festive plaid J.Crew had a few years ago and it seems EVERYONE has it? That is how I feel this shirt is- it’s just great. 


This past weekend, I went home for one of my best friend’s baby shower. I was co-hosting with my other high school best friend and it was so lovely to be able to spend more than 1-2 hours with them. Of course, spending time with my family is always a plus too and ALWAYS a little difficult to leave and go back to NC again not knowing when I’ll see them next. 

I hope y’all have an amazing first Monday of the year. I am having slight post Christmas blues, but I guess Ill just have to find something else to look forward to, I think Ill start with Friday. 🙂

    As for your legs – they look great in your Hunter boots! Having insecurities is totally understandable, but don't let it stop you from wearing them! The way you paired them with dark jeans actually lengthens your legs rather than making them appear shorter. Rock those boots with confidence! 🙂

    P.S. My Hunter's aren't loose my my legs and I'm very insecure about how tight they are on my calves.
