I wanted to take a moment this evening to talk about a brave little lad who literally stole my heart. When the ladies of P.S I Adore You reached out to me about spreading their cause, I jumped at the opportunity to share Landon’s story. P.S. I Adore you is an adorable site that always offers 10% of of their sales back to Landon’s family to help pay for his treatment- can you think of a better cause? I can’t.
In the late fall of 2014 Landon was playing in a Tennis tournament in Salt Lake City. After the match his parents asked him what was wrong and he said that his wrists and knees hurt. Over the next few weeks however his pain worsened. He would wake up at night with severe pain in his wrists. It was so bad that he would come into our room in tears. They confirmed the diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in November 2014. During another rough patch, as a precaution they admitted him to Primary Children’s to do a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy where they confirmed that he has Pre-B-ALL (Leukemia).

My sister was diagnosed with ALL in July of 2010, shortly after my wedding. She has since passed away from the illness, but I wish the best for this little cutie. It's such a hard thing to watch little kids go through any sort of sickness, let alone cancer. My thoughts and prayers go out to this little guy and his family!
