Must Have Vaca Accessories (and Shoes)

While Aaron and I have no plans to head to the beach until September, I am always in vacation planning mode. I mean, who doesn’t want a vacation? We only live 2.5 hours from the beach, so I am hoping one weekend we can sneak away to Wilmington and maybe stay at a B&B or something. I love the beach- fruity cocktails, sunkissed skin and the ocean breeze. What’s not to love?


When Aaron and I first met, he said to me “Im not really a beach guy, I like the mountains” I thought, “okay weirdo, who says they don’t like the beach?” That was before my first “Mountain vacation” and before he started working 80+ hours a week and found that the beach is actually quite enjoyable. Now we like both 🙂


I also love packing for the beach. It’s so much easier than packing for somewhere cooler or more adventurous. Throw in some sun dresses and cover-ups and BAM, you’re finished. Above are some of my must have packing accessories to accompany those coverups and swimsuits. And remember, don’t forget the sunscreen and a hat (skin protection is important y’all). I picked up a panama hat from J.Crew a few weeks ago, but I am loving the price of this one too! Oh, and can I just mention how adorable Shopbop’s beach accessories are. Those beach balls!
