Secret Garden

Do y’all remember the movie the Secret Garden? I used to love it and that’s exactly what Duke Gardens reminds me of. It’s such a beautiful place. I remember seeing this red bride when Aaron and I came for his Duke interview and loving it right from the start. It looked like a scene straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. So naturally, a perfect place to take some blog pictures!

Can we talk about these shoes for a minute? I also have a pair of flat Jack Rogers sandals, so I figured a wedge would be a perfect addition to my shoe collection as well. I was right. I love these wedges because they are comfortable and classic, just like my flats. Plus, they are gold which is always a winner in my book because it automatically means they go with everything. My girlfriend actually asked me the other day if my flats were comfortable and I told her absolutely. I feel like after wearing them, they really mold to your feet.
