Pool Party

I’m hoping to start spending some weekend time at the pool in the next few weeks which got me thinking about the perfect pool party necessities. Growing up my parents had a pool and some of my favorite memories are swimming under the lights at night and jumping on the rafts (much to my mother’s dismay). My mom always had everything we needed, sunscreen (very important), plenty of towels and of course, pool games. Looking at the items above, I wan to throw a party just to make little pineapple ice cubes to put in my tumbler and float in the little palm tree floaties. And I mean, who doesn’t want to take a float on a giant flamingo? I Do! I Do!

Have y’all bought new swimwear this season yet? I am having such a hard time deciding what I want this year, but I am thinking about going for some high waist bikini bottoms and a cute top. I just don’t know if short people can pull those off…thoughts?

    I want to pool party where you are pool partying – this all looks so fun! Swimwear…i LOVE the high waisted bottoms, but I too am scared if I can pull it off (i'm 5'3 on a good day). Whatever I purchase, I've decided to invest in a good suite this year…let the hunt begin!

    This inspiration board has me so excited for summer! I love those ice cube molds. We have summer-y ice cube molds, too, and they are so fun for parties.
