Linen

I love linen pants/shirts/anything for the summer. Not only is it extremely comfortable, but it seems like a necessity for summer vacations and beach outings. I may not be on a beach in these photos, but in my head I’m wishing I was! I’ve had these pants for years- I bought them at Loft on major sale and I am surprised how much wear I’ve got from them. Plus, I ALWAYS get compliments on them. Something I’ve also been getting compliments on are these shoes from Famous Footwear. I love how they have about an inch in height and are sparkly, because let’s be honest…if you’re not in heels, your flats must be fabulous. 🙂 Famous Footwear has some amazingly affordable shoes perfect for the beach and linen pants! Im about to pull the trigger on some Birkenstocks. 

Aaron has a couple golden weekends coming up (when he has Saturday AND Sunday off- it’s rare), so I thought it would be fun to rent a little condo on the beach in NC. Boy, was I wrong- nothing is available. I guess Ill continue to wear these pants in Durham and just pretend I’m on the beach instead! Have you stayed anywhere cool driving distance (under 5 hours) near Durham/Raleigh, I’d love ideas!
